I find myself wondering what the world felt like in mid-October 1929. Did anyone truly understand what was about to happen? Right now it is just not clear whether we are in that Wiley Coyote moment of standing over the canyon and waiting for the comedic gravity to kick in. Itapos;s all very odd. We are all living our ordinary lives and yet tomorrow there could be madness. I pray not, but frankly if we are relying on the same talent to get us out of this mess who have been running things the last 20 years, we are probably not in great shape.
